Jim Johnston (McElroy Mfg) is the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at McElroy Manufacturing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has been working in the plastics pipe industry at McElroy for 30 years. His career has included all facets of the thermoplastic piping industry from supply chain, manufacturing, engineering and leadership to consultation on design and installation of thermoplastic piping systems. He is a regular presenter both domestically and internationally on the importance of plastic piping systems for industries including, natural gas distribution, oil and gas gathering, mining, water usage and conservation, agriculture and many others. He is actively involved with many standards and industry organizations. In his spare time, Jim loves fishing and upland bird hunting.
