Dave Stewart currently serves as a consultant to the HDPE industry providing expert Fusion and pipe services to contractors and owners. studied Geophysics at Texas A&M and the University of Texas, but the oil bust of the late 70’s cratered the oil exploration job market. He started working construction and shooting dynamite in the early 80’s. He has worked for the City of Lago Vista for 33 years and that is where he made a significant commitment to HDPE pipe. He also serves on the following HDPE related committees and boards: Small Utility Representative Member on PPI’s HDPE Municipal Advisory Board, AWWA Pipe and Fittings Standards Committee, Thermoplastics (Polyolefins) AWWA 263 Committee Volunteer Board Member.
